Talking to the media, Leader of the Opposition in the Senate, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, said that we are going to end the sit-in staged in front of parliament. Assembly members protested regarding the founding leader’s health, and we have taken the health matter to court, with our sole demand being that his personal physicians be allowed to meet him. He stated that we saw how parliament had been turned into a prison, and when we were leaving parliament, the routes were blocked.
He said that many restrictions were imposed on us during the parliamentary protest. When news regarding the founding leader’s eye surfaced, Mahmood Achakzai stated that we would go on a hunger strike, and we protested precisely to ensure that personal physicians are granted access to the founding leader. The Leader of the Opposition in the Senate said that the feelings of the sisters are justified and they should be permitted to meet him. We hope for the improvement of the founding leader’s eyes, and he should be transferred to Shifa International.
