Italy announces visa exemption for holders of Pakistani diplomatic passports

Italy has announced a visa exemption for holders of Pakistani diplomatic passports upon the request of Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi. During his visit to Italy, Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with his Italian counterpart, during which the Italian Interior Minister assured him of providing 10,500 visas for skilled Pakistani labor. Mohsin Naqvi briefed the Italian Interior Minister on the Government of Pakistan’s effective measures against illegal immigration. The Italian Interior Minister stated that Pakistan’s achievements in preventing illegal immigration, human trafficking, and drug smuggling are commendable.
